Product Safety and Conformity Policy

A safe machine is no accident; it is the product of discipline.

This policy applies to the ironing and press machines, steam boilers and generators, vacuum systems and spare parts that Malkan Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. produces and places on the market.

Our word is simple: a machine is safe only if its maker takes its user’s safety seriously. We carry that seriousness from design to delivery, and from delivery to after-sales service.

Which documents a product ships with is written down before the order.

• The conformity of our products is assessed within the framework of the technical regulations each product family is subject to.
• Our CE-marked products are delivered with an EU declaration of conformity.
• The conformity documents with which each product will be delivered are stated clearly in the offer and in the order confirmation.
• As new technical regulations enter into force, we review the conformity files of our product families and keep them up to date.

We test the pressure before we trust it.

• Every steam boiler and generator is pressure tested before shipment, and an inspection report is issued for each unit.
• A product that does not pass inspection is not shipped.

Every machine has an identity, and every identity has an owner.

Every machine we produce is recorded by serial number and matched to its buyer. This lets us reach the machine concerned and its owner directly whenever safety information is needed.

Correct installation, correct use, long service life.

• Our machines are delivered with a Turkish-language operating manual; for exports, the language of the manual is stated in the order confirmation.
• Installation, water quality, maintenance and safety warnings are given in the manual; for steam equipment, water free of limescale and deposits is a condition of safe and long-lasting operation.
• Unauthorised modification of a product may impair safety and ends the warranty coverage.

The moment we notice a risk, we act.

• When a safety risk is identified in a product on the market, we notify the competent authority in the manner required by product safety legislation.
• We inform the owners of the machines concerned directly, through our serial-number records.
• Depending on the nature of the risk, we carry out an on-site correction, replace parts or recall the product.

The sale is not the end; it is where our word begins.

Our network of 29 sales and service points in Türkiye and abroad, together with our original spare parts, supports the safe operation of our machines throughout their service life.
