About Malkan Machine
Malkan, whose foundations were laid in 1971, has always been one step ahead of change in its production journey of more than 50 years and has become one of the largest and most prestigious manufacturers not only in Turkey but also in the world. With the aim of complying with international quality standards and constantly improving itself, Malkan has become a leading global brand with its technology and has proven its success to the whole world by exporting to 94 countries in 5 continents.
Having achieved a great success in the market with the fully automated controlled presses it has developed, Malkan continues its R&D studies without interruption, believing that being inspired will be continuous.
Today, Malkan continues to inspire the world Iron & Press market with its technology that shapes the future. In addition to product development investments, it has adopted the principle of being sensitive to human safety and the environment. These two basic principles are also Malkan's production philosophy.

Our History
1980 – 1990
Mustafa Alkan, who worked alone in the years he founded Malkan, now serves the Turkish industry with 17 employees. Malkan, which produced only a few types of machines in the first years, started to increase the types of industrial garment ironing presses in the 80s. Thus, it ensures that a large amount of foreign currency used for imports stays in Turkey. The product range has exceeded 30. In order to meet the rapidly increasing demand in the mid-80s, Malkan Makina moves its production to a 5000 sqm closed area factory. Applying the latest production technology of the period, Malkan increases its product range to 160.
1990 – 2000
Completing its establishment and development process rapidly, Malkan continues to break new ground in its sector. For the first time in 91, a Turkish ironing machine manufacturer exhibits its products at the sector fair abroad. Malkan, which introduced its products to the world by participating in industrial fairs; It makes good use of the opportunities it catches in these fairs, improves product quality, and brings its marketing techniques to an international level. In a short time, Malkan becomes popular in the world. Again in this period, it expands its sales, distribution and service network all over the country in order to provide faster and better quality service to its customers in the domestic market.
2000 – 2010
Malkan is almost unaffected by the economic crisis that started in the late 90s and deeply shook the country in the early 2000s, with its strong structure and equity accumulation. On the contrary, it constantly improves its production technology, continuously increases its employment and exports, and starts to invest more in quality. Malkan, which has been producing TSE-approved products and providing customer service, goes through a radical restructuring and switches to the international ISO-9001 Total Quality System. In addition to the 6000 sqm factory building, which it produces in CE European standards approved by German TÜV, it also puts a 3600 sqm showroom building into service. Malkan made the biggest breakthrough in special jacket and trouser presses in this period; Thanks to the turnkey factory projects realized by many domestic and foreign world-famous brands in their new investments both in Turkey and abroad, it has succeeded in making its name a world brand.
2010 – 2020
This period is a period when MALKAN experienced an explosion in exports. Special ironing presses that produce high-tech products and high efficiency in suit production; From Uzbekistan to Poland, Brazil to Egypt, Azerbaijan to Morocco, Iran to Ethiopia, Ukraine to Mexico, and many more countries in the world where ready-made garments are at the forefront as turnkey projects have begun. Meeting the increasing demand was only possible by giving delivery times after 12 months. Now, it has entered a period where everyone in the world who is involved in the production of apparel and suits knows the name MALKAN by heart.
2020 – 2030
Today, it now has a customer portfolio of more than 80.000, 135 specialist engineers and technical staff, 800 employees in the sub-industry, nearly 50 local representative offices in Turkey, more than 40 foreign representative offices in 5 continents, Malkan, which successfully represents Turkey with around 150,000 products working in 94 countries; It is constantly expanding its share in domestic and foreign markets, especially with the advantage of cheap and qualified workmanship against its European competitors and the principle of using 1st class quality materials under all conditions. Malkan plans to increase its investments in higher-quality products and technology in the upcoming period. In this way, it aims to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2021 as Turkey's greatest pride in the manufacture of industrial ironing machines.
